Emma Martinez is an art student studying for a BA in Illustration at Columbia College Chicago. She plans on using her skills and education to enter a career in illustration or design. Emma is fueled by her passion for creating art and has not stopped creating since she was a child.  

Emma started pursuing higher education in art early on in high school by earning her Fine Arts Academy certification. Her art and this achievement paved the way for her to be awarded scholarships at her top-choice colleges.  Chicago-based, Emma is an artist who mainly works in an illustrative black-and-white style and likes to dabble in watercolor painting. She sees the potential of working in a career based on her love to create and wants to create art that others can enjoy.

Emma believes in pursuing what makes you happy and likes to practice that through her interests and hobbies of reading, cooking, yoga, and of course drawing and painting. ​
